BBC Play School  Jemima of 1970's

NB: I am sorry but I  cannot make these characters into rag dolls for sale
as I do not own copyright on them.

For a while Jemima had short hair. (Left) Jemima in posh frock and straw hat. How small she looks!

Jemima's hair became straight and tied in a pony-tail by coloured ribbons that matched her clothes.

She continued to have striped legs and plain coloured boots.

Hoorah! A whole clear picture (above) of Jemima now residing at the  Bethnal Green Museum, London

Right a black haired Jemima 22" tall made in Nov 04 with blue shoes and legs.

It is said that the dolls only lasted for the duration of each series and then had to be replaced. Poor Jemima's hair (right) is getting rather threadbare.

Whilst her features remain very much the same, the mouth is lower in this picture than on the Jemima in the picture above right.

See how differently she looked in the 1960's
