Raggedy Ann

This doll is based on 'Raggedy Ann', a character from an American children's story by Johnny Gruelle ( c.1915).

After carefully looking at the pictures in the story, I made my own doll in March 2000. She has an appliquéd face, mitten hands and striped legs with integral blue fabric shoes.
Her hair is made from acrylic wool.
