I used tiny pieces of fabric for her eyelids which I frayed to make her lashes. 
She certainly has a confident, expectant expression.
 

Flower Fairy       

With the idea of daisies and fairies in mind I developed the inspiration for this figure in April 2003.
Her face  is needle sculpted and fabric painted and her hair is glued and plaited in sections and then styled. Her wings are a combination of green and blue synthetic  material with silver and green gauze over a wired structure.

She is covered with ribbon flowers. Whilst her head is a design of my own, her body pattern was taken from Patti Medaris Culea's book 'Creative Cloth Doll Making' ISBN: 1840924039
