Candida 

Meet Candida, Candy to her friends. 
This girl just loves the colour pink!

Created August 2003 and restyled in Dec 2004 because her hands and lower legs were just so ugly! (see below) I had been trying out different styles of hands etc. for my dolls.  
I redid her hands and lower legs in tea dyed cream Cambric (feather proof ticking) and added some jewellery. I traced around my own hand to make the hand template. The rest of her is made from tea dyed calico. She is now one of my favourites.

Her face, nails and shoes are fabric painted and her hair is made from eyelash yarn. I fashioned  her clothes  from Indian cotton.
