Claudette

An early simple design of mine (Winter 2002). Her hair is made from chunky double knit acrylic and polyester wool which has coloured threads throughout, giving it an excellent afro texture.  

Her features are simply applied using fabric paint. Her trainers/socks are made from white cotton jersey  knit with cardboard soles and painted with acrylic fabric paints and tied with embroidery silk laces.
