A really economical and fun way to recycle a pair of socks is to make a sock doll. Avoid nylon and Terylene socks as these tend to ladder and fray. Even those with darned toes will be hidden by the doll's hair. Different sized socks will obviously make different sized dolls. Some socks will stretch more than others when stuffed, so bear this in mind. |
